‘DIO Digital Dentistry Course Seminar in Sydney’ successfully completed
A leading company of digital dentistry, DIO (CEO Jincheol Kim, Jinbaek Kim) successfully completed 'DIO Digital Dentistry Course Seminar
in Sydney' which was held on 27th and 28th of July in Sydney, Korea.
The symposium was done with an advanced course that shared various clinical know-how such as 'Flapless Live Surgery' using digital
implant 'DIOnavi', digital workflow for edentulous patients, and Hands-on Course.
On the first day of symposium, Dr.Victor Tsang (Digital Dental Surgery in Sydney) was the main presenter. He gave explanation to make
it easy for the attendees to understand about a concept of digital implant ‘DIOnavi.’ and process running hands-on course.
In the afternoon section 'Flapless Live Surgery' using the digital implant 'DIOnavi.’ guide system, the live demonstration of the
surgery at DIO Training Center was performed in real time to the Amora Hotel through live broadcasts and was completed successfully.
On the second day, Prof. Byungho Choi (Wonju Severance Hospital of Yonsei University) who is a global scholar and Prof. Seungmi Jeong
(Wonju Severance Hospital of Yonsei University) took a part of seminar as lecturers.
First, in the morning section, the theme of 'Digital Full Mouth Edentulous and Workflow' was presented with a full digital workflow for
edentulous patients, including a treatment plan using the DIOnavi. guide system, the surgery procedure and method for implant insertion.
Then, in the afternoon section, there was 'Full Mouth Edentulous Hands-on' practice session. In addition to live demonstrations of the surgery,
Prof. Choi improved the participants' satisfaction further with practical lecture and practice.
Hands-on participants also asked questions ranging from basic surgery skills to the latest trends, and Prof. Choi solved the questions of
participants with detailed answers based on an abundant clinical experience.
