Production of the final prosthesis in a one-hour in-dental clinic to reach the peak of innovation of digital technology
DIO launched the digital prosthetic solution ‘DIO Ecosystem’ that combines big data and artificial intelligence. It was evaluated that it achieved the peak of innovation of digital technology with a workflow that can be completed in just one hour from scanning to designing, printing, and final prosthesis production.
DIO also held a 'Digital Platform Construction Completion Ceremony' to commemorate the launch of 'DIO Ecosystem' at Centum headquarters in Busan on June 8. On this day, CEO Jin-baek Kim encouraged the employees who worked hard to build the digital platform and expressed confidence that the gap with competitors will widen with the launch of 'DIO Ecosystem', saying, "Today we declare completion, but this is not the end, but the starting point of a new beginning."
Chairman Jin-cheol Kim also emphasized, “We are trying to focus on what we are good at rather than moving forward as a total solution company such as a unit chair, CT, and opening business.” And “That is a clinical and digital solution.”
A fantastic lineup of ‘DIO Ecosystem’
The 'DIO Ecosystem', which combines DIO's technology, consists of △ Oral scanner △ Software 'DIO ECO CAD' △ 3D printer 'DIO PROBO Z' △Curing machine 'DIO PROBO Cure2' △ New material for permanent prosthetics 'DIOnavi-C&B Z'.
The workflow is very simple. First of all, scan the oral cavity with intra oral scanner, obtain the impression data, and design it easily with 'DIO ECO CAD Software'.
After printing the high-quality prosthesis with ‘DIO PROBO Z’, the printed ‘DIOnavi-C&B Z’ is connected to the patient’s mouth to complete the entire process. Since all these procedures are carried out in the clinic, it reduces chair time, which is expected to increase the satisfaction of both the clinician and the patient.

The design software ‘DIO ECO CAD’ is designed so that anyone can easily design their prosthesis by applying AI capabilities. The biggest feature is that it converts scan data from scan adaptor and custom abutment into individual libraries, enabling anyone to design implants easily and accurately.
‘DIO PROBO Z’, the core of the digital prosthetic solution, is a 3D printer optimized for prosthetic production, enabling fast and accurate prosthesis production. The speed was improved by 16% with more improved engine power than before, and the precision of all sections of the output showed high output precision within ±50μm and secured both speed and accuracy.
'DIO PROBO Cure2' is a curing machine that does effective curing in a short time. Equipped with a powerful 405nm wavelength LED light source and a simultaneous upper and lower irradiation system, it improves the light uniformity of the irradiated surface to realize the best curing quality. It is also equipped with a function that automatically stops operation in the event of abnormally high temperature caused by LED overheating, as well as an alarm that rings in the event of safety problems.
Finally, 'DIOnavi-C&B Z' is a cutting-edge new material for a permanent prosthesis that applies special resin technology, and it is evaluated that it has overcome the limitations of resin by once again increasing the durability of prosthetics. Above all, it implements prosthetic design and aesthetics optimized for the patient's oral condition and further enhances the completeness of prosthetic materials.
