- The renewed ‘DIO Ortho navi. Clear Aligner’ presents a new standard of Clear Aligner
- DIO successfully wrapped up the exhibition by introducing various digital orthodontic products at the 'The 54th Annual Scientific Congress Korean Association of Orthodontists' held at COEX, Seoul for 4 days from the 14th.
In this exhibition, DIO’s is a digital clear aligner ‘DIO Ortho navi. Clear Aligner’ and 3D printing bracket ‘DIO Ortho navi. Bracket’ was introduced and captured the attention of the visitors.
The newly renewed ‘DIO Ortho navi. ‘Clear Aligner’ was more focused on finishing up the treatment by assorting the amount of teeth movement in detail compared to the existing transparent orthodontics, and adopted a solution using a single-type sheet to minimize the patient’s pain. And during orthodontic treatment, efficient treatments such as C-force system(Constant System) which uses the teeth that reached the target location first as a relative fixation source instead of moving all the teeth at the same time, and Smart Set-up system which evaluates treatment results in the middle process and then resets treatment goals to provide customized transparent correction according to the patient’s condition in the process of 8 steps (12 weeks to 16 weeks), were evaluated that it presented a new standard for transparent orthodontics, and it drew a hot response.
Also, design and material was improved for the ‘DIO Ortho navi. Bracket’ which not only enabled the use on both labial and lingual sides, but along side with the ‘DIO Ortho navi. Clear Aligner’, managed to carry out 6,500 cases and secured the stability of the treatment and attracted interests from the visitors.
General Manager of DIO Orthodontic Development Team Mr. Jang-sun Lee said “Inquiries for digital correction total solution including the ‘DIO Ortho navi. Clear Aligner, had been pouring in” and added that “We are going to try our best to expand the orthodontic market globally by utilizing our technology”
