DIO selected as a conscientious taxpayer in 2021

- Contribute to regional economic development through exemplary tax payment
- On December 2nd, DIO was selected as a conscientious taxpayer for the year 2021, and Soon-won Hong, head of Haeundae-gu, Busan, visited the Busan Centum headquarters in person.
The visit was made to express gratitude to companies that contributed to the revitalization of the local economy through sincere tax payment even in difficult economic conditions at home and abroad, and to provide on-site communication to listen to difficulties in corporate operation.
On this day, DIO received an ‘exemplary tax payment company signboard’ in recognition of his contribution to the spread of the advanced tax payment culture by paying local taxes exemplary.
CEO Jin-baek Kim said, "I am happy that sincere tax payment has helped regional development," adding, "We will continue to pay sincerely to contribute to regional economic development and grow with the region."
Meanwhile, the selection of exemplary taxpayers is being carried out to create a sound tax payment culture and to inspire pride in faithful tax payment.
The selection criteria is selected after deliberation by the Local Tax Deliberation Committee for taxpayers who have not paid local tax in arrears and have paid three or more local taxes annually for at least three consecutive years within the deadline.
