UV Activator2's unrivaled technological prowess was enough to capture the attention of clinicians around the world.
'UV Activator2' is a system that hydrophilizes the surface by removing organic substances such as hydrocarbons on the hydrophobic titanium surface by surface treatment of light irradiation using ultraviolet (UV) light on the titanium surface treated with SLA. It has been evaluated as a next-generation surface treatment method that can have both the advantages of the SLA surface treatment method, which is the most stable titanium surface treatment method so far, as well as the advantages of obtaining hydrophilicity, which is advantageous for osseointegration, and has opened a new horizon for the UV surface treatment system.
The high-power UV lamp applied with a 360° cylindrical pattern thoroughly irradiated the titanium surface to increase the transmission absorption of ultraviolet rays and compensate for losses to increase the hydrophilicity of the implant, and showed a clear difference before and after UV irradiation. In addition, along with a short 20-second investigation time, it is possible to easily cope with variables appearing in the surgical process, further increasing utilization. As a result, it has been reborn as a solution that can satisfy both patients and operators by reducing the overall treatment period based on high stability.

The excellence of UV investigated implants has already been verified through various related papers and clinical cases. In 2019, UV Implant seminars were held nationwide and several clinical cases were disclosed. It proved the value of UV implant system and 'UV Activator2' at the center of UV implant system with various topics such as solid theoretical background of UV implant, difficult cases, and cases that failed due to osteonecrosis.
