Curriculum composition that has evolved in accordance with the digital environment
This year, DIO begins a journey to nurture global digital dentistry talent. DIO established an annual plan for the ‘DIO Digital Academy (hereafter DDA)’ in 2022 and foretold its full-scale operation.
‘DDA’ is the integrated educational program with hands-on course for nurturing ‘DIOnavi.’ experts, and is a global training program for dentists around the world. In the meantime, ‘DDA’ has received a lot of attention from clinicians by providing systematic educational services and high-quality educational opportunities based on a differentiated curriculum. As a result, it has been well-received as an educational system that can be directly applied in actual clinical practice, and has established itself as a representative academic and educational program along with online seminars.
DIO held a total of 146 ‘Global DDA’ last year alone, including 76 domestic and 70 overseas, and shared the excellence of ‘DIOnavi.’ with 1,000 dentists despite difficult circumstances. This year, it plans to hold a total of 400 ‘DDA’ at headquarter and overseas branches, to visit dentists from all over the world. In particular, this year's 'DDA' is expected to become the center of dentistry education around the world with a more advanced curriculum composed of senior experts with rich clinical experience of 'DIOnavi.'.
Yong-young Lee, head of DIO's PR team, said, “We are continuously developing new educational contents that suit the rapidly changing digital environment. We will focus on it,” he said.
