Experience a new world

Navigation system which accurately performs patient’s treatment

Dr. Soon-il Kang, the director of Kang’s dental clinic located in Toseong-dong, Seo-gu, Busan, will be 28th year since he opened the clinic in the next year.
“The patient who visited the clinic when she was in elementary school brings her daughter in elementary school now.”
In other words, he is a senior dentist and it is no exaggeration to say that he is twilight of life.
Therefore, the Kang’s clinic is a place where the history of the youth of Kang is filled with history, and it is meaningful place to keep his dream. He filled the history on the wall of the clinic.

Most of dentists hang dental publication for advertisement on the wall, but I wanted to show patients the history of me and clinic. Because this was the time with the patients.: The first clinic of Dr. Kang was opened in the building next to the clinic in 1989, and it was expended from 56 m2 to 112 m2 in 2002. In 2015, it was moved to the current building. Kang’s clinic has evolved every 13 years. The 3rd floor of clinic is used for treatment, and the 2nd floor is used as a collaborative laboratory, Dr. Kang’s room, and a staff rest room.
Most dentists may be following the current trend for some time, or out of the digital dentistry. In addition those dentists settle down as a veteran for conventional treatment. However, Dr. Kang does not neglect to follow the latest trends such as digital or computer.
In 1995, he bought his first 64-megapixel oral-camera. And his interest in digital is more than expected, as he is also an advisor to the Busan branch of Korean Academy of Digitalized Dentistry.
"There was always interested in digital filed. Because there was not enough space in the clinic, I needed to be prepared to introduce digital devices.”(Haha)
However, the clinic was expanded and relocated, and digital devices were introduced by accident. At that time, he chose a navigation system of DIO.
When he first introduced the DIO navigation system, he had about 2 cases per day and now I have 40 to 50 patients per day.

I aim to make patients as comfortable and painless as possible.: The navigation system of DIO shows precise results after implant placement by CBCT. There are several clinics who offer the implant surgery with low price in the neighborhood. However, the patient is not disconnected and the reservation is completed after one week even though the treatment fee is high.

It is because of trust with the patient that the Kang’s clinic reveals the best even if there are many clinics offering low treatment fee. A patient who has visited a few decades ago still comes for treatment.
