Highest Number of Surgery on Digital Implant DIOnavi. with Patient-centered Care

Kim Jung-Ran, Dortor of Cream Dental Clinic, started digital care for the first time in 2013. Considering that digital dentistry has become popular recently, start of digital care was a step ahead of any other dentist.
"The accuracy of the prosthodontic is a factor that determines the quality of the treatment, but when it was submitted to the dental laboratories, there was a difficulty in not getting the desired shape and precision. I wanted to solve my thirst by doing it myself rather than being influenced by what kind of dental lab I contacted. "
'Digital will gradually spread to the dental industry. Dr.Kim, who has been studying digital medical care consistently without hesitating to start digital dental treatment from the thought that "Development is moving forward, not retreat". The digital dentistry, which developed rapidly as time passed, was as expected.

Finding a Solution by 'Patient-centered Digital Care'
"I was worried about patient-centered care. What is "patient-centered care", what should I do? I had a lot of thought that the patient should get the desired treatment. I've been looking for a lot of systems to do to find patient-centered care. "
Then, in 2014, Dr.Kim learned about DIOnavi. It was generally accepted a long time ago that the result of the guide surgery system was not good, and since the thesis also supported that recognition. That is the reason Dr. Kim had been ruling out the digital dentistry but actually excluded the guide surgery system. But the attending lecture was a decisive moment.
"I attended Professor Choi Byung Ho's lecture on DIOnavi. at the seminar hosted by DIO. I was able to trust that he lectured on the contents of the long research data. When I saw the kit, I thought that it was different from the guide I knew. At the time, some companies talked about the digital guide system, but I was more interested in the lecture that focused on research and data. Having a thesis is a very important selection criterion."
Guide system is the essential item

Jung-ran Kim,
Dortor of Cream Dentatl Clinic

Dr.Kim says the digital guide surgery system is now a must for dental treatment.
"I have always talked that the guide system is essential. If you have a good digital guide system, you should use it. Everyone knows that it is necessary to place the implant at the correct angle and at the correct position. People's eyes or senses alone can make a difference because it depends on their subjective feelings. If you use DIOnavi., you can control the position and angle of the implant according to the patient's oral structure and gum bones in 3D, so you can make the implant procedure more accurate.
Dr.Kim has already experienced the accuracy of 'DIOnavi.' with numerous implant cases. In order to increase the accuracy of implant placement, Dr.Kim is now broadening his use of 'DIOnavi.' even if it is not an incisionless case.
'DIOnavi.', which digitizes the whole process from diagnosis to surgery, can be used not only for edentulous case, maxillary sinus case and immediate placement but also a case with small bone width, a narrow interdental case and a posterior mouth with a small opening. DIOnavi. also has a wide selection of kit lines for these various cases.
The 'digital guide' that patients know
Was his idea of introducing DIOnavi. to achieve patient-centered care? Dr.Kim said that the patients' satisfaction was quite different after using DIOnavi. "For patients, dental clinic is a terrifying place. However, if the dentist concentrates on improving the accuracy, it can overlook the patient's discomfort. So even if a dentist feels fulfilled, it is hard to say that patients experienced a patient-centered care if they are terrified and do not want to be treated again. However, patients who have been treated with other methods in the past clearly know the difference with DIOnavi. The pain they feel is totally different. "
Due to word of mouth patients who were treated with 'DIOnavi', the number of referral patients also increased.
Basically, because there is no gingival incision, the time required for incision and suture is reduced, and pain is also reduced. The clinic has already been named as the largest number of DIOnavi. surgery clinic by patients who come from all over the country. In recent years, as the elderly patients who have become increasingly sickened by systematic disease in the aging society have come to clinic, "DIOnavi." plays an active role perfectly.
For example, when a patient with a stroke who has a heavy burden of stopping aspirin is required to get an implant surgery, an incisionless procedure without a bone graft with DIOnavi. is much easier for the dentist and the patient.
Reduces stress after using DIOnavi.
"In fact, the more patients are satisfied, the more they are expecting dental care much, and I am worried (laughs). Certainly, from the use of 'DIOnavi.' personally, in case of boarder line of bone graft, bone graft cases were decreased and also it reduces the stress of the overdenture. It is a safe and satisfactory treatment for the dentists and the patients. "
Even though Dr.Kim praises the satisfactory, accuracy and utilization of the digital guide system 'DIOnavi.', he claims that it is necessary as a means for the patient care, but advises that there should be a learning curve enough to master the protocol.
"The more you learn, the more you will see that digital dentistry is different. It's different when you learn one year, and when you learn two years ... . Do not forget that the most basic thing for dentists is to learn the senses from your hands."
