interview

“The patient comes first and spreads the word about DIOnavi.”

Comfortable for both the surgeon and the patient because it’s easy to use. “Satisfied” with procedures regardless of the surgeon and staff’s skills

“Why did I choose ‘DIOnavi.’? The reason why I chose DIOnavi., the most advanced navigation implant in this era, is that it is useful for accurate fixture placement and maxillary sinus lift.”

Dr. Jong Hwan Park, head of the Hub Dental Clinic, who provides healthy teeth through state-of-the-art digital equipment in Ulsan, is in his 9th year of opening his clinic.
When he was working as a paid doctor, he came across digital technology from the clinic he worked in and applied it to his own clinical applications, confirming the true value of DIO, a company leading the digital dentistry.

Half of clinical trials are DIO related
Dr. Park, who opened is clinic in 2012, purchased an oral scanner “Trios3” in 2014, and began to perform implant surgery with “DIOnavi.”.

Dr. Park said, "I like dealing with new machines, and I was always interested in digitalization. I have been using DIOnavi. almost 6 years, and now I know why DIO is a leader in the digital field."
He has also used other surgical guides, and he explained that DIOnavi. is much easier to use and more comfortable than other company’s products. He explained that clinical trials are becoming more and more interesting to the point where I have a desire to do surgery a little more actively with it.

DIOnavi., a digital implant that shows previews for the whole process, determines the best treatment method after 3D computer simulation, and helps with fast treatment. It is possible to grasp the placement position in advance by simulation.
Thanks to this, the entire treatment process is performed through digital data, and the position, angle, and depth of the implantation according to the individual's oral structure and gum bone are identified after the simulation with a 3D computer before surgery. High patient satisfaction is naturally followed thanks to these advantages.
'DIOnavi.' for all cases
Dr. Park said, “I used it one to two years after the maxillary sinus lift sequence was developed in DIO. I found out that when using DIOnavi., membrane tissue is rarely torn during the surgery because surgical stent prevents the drill from shaking.” And added that, “Due to the features, DIOnavi. is especially useful in lifting the sinus membrane in the maxillary sinus case.”

He uses the digital navigation 'DIOnavi. from simple implant cases to difficult ones, if the patient agrees. Since the procedure was performed with digital implants and done with a flapless surgery, patients who had received the surgery began to promote the clinic. It is naturally rumored to be ‘a painless and comfortable implant surgery'.

It's not just the patient. The review of the staffs who help with the surgery is also very positive. Dr. Park said, “It finishes sooner than non-digital surgery, and employees like it more, and from the staff's point of view, just being exposed to 'digitalization' is a merit to them.” He added that “the value of his job consciousness has increased because he can learn new things.”

Another advantage of DIOnavi. is that even the youngest staffs who are not skilled can assist with the surgery. Whether it is a beginner or a highly-trained staff, the results of surgery do not change regardless of their skill level. They always give persistent results.
If you want to change the clinical...
Dr. Park is also active as a ‘DIOnavi’ speaker for beginners in digital surgery. He said, “The reason why young clinicians or older clinicians in their 50s who want to make a difference in the clinic, tend to keep up with the trend of the times, is because they worry that they will be left behind. The priority is to pursue clinical accuracy without stress. As there is no rule of right way to study, if you challenge yourself and apply the system enough, you will get satisfactory results.”

Lastly, on October 13th, Dr. Park congratulated DIO on achieving a record of accumulative holes of 400,000 for ‘DIOnavi’ placement. He said, "It is good that DIO, which was the leader of the navigation system, is doing well," he said. "I hope that DIO will continue to be a company that will continuously research, develop, modify, and supplement through feedback from the clinicians."
