“'DIOnavi' is a reliable helper for beginners in surgery.”
A system designed to allow the operator to operate comfortably, reduce fear and stress of implants
Dr. Jae-Hyun Lee of Suseo Seoul Samsung Dental Clinic has been in the sixth year of its opening.
After training, he obtained the qualification as a prosthodontist and opened the clinic, but the fear of implant surgery in the early days always bothered him.
Dr. Lee said, “I thought that my implant-related study was not perfect, so I stayed up all night with my eyes open before the surgery, and in the beginning, I was very stressed.”
I experienced the implant surgical method using a digital guide coincidently at a seminar and I was shocked.”

Dr. Lee said, “In my training days, my advisor always emphasized that 'the best treatment is to reproduce the patient's teeth as if they were their own.”
“I still try to keep that motto as a clinician and a dentist. In a case where the patients’ natural teeth cannot be saved and implants are the best solution, I work the on treatment trying to ‘reproduce the original tooth in the same position.
After that Dr.Lee said, “For the patient, placing something in the mouth can be uncomfortable itself.” And shared his thought saying “ I wish to give them a feeling that they still have their healthy and comfortable teeth.” “When I give lectures, I meet many doctors who have obscure fear about placing implants.” He said, “If you step off on the right foot, you’ll get less complaints, and get satisfactory surgery results.
