'DIOnavi.' is the No. 1 contributor to clinical stress 'Zero'

Consistent treatment outcomes without affecting case or clinician condition

“There are many elderly patients due to the characteristics of the region called Gunsan. I think 'DIOnavi.' is one of the most convenient systems that give seniors the joy of chewing.”
Dr. Young-seok Chae (Dr. Chae Dental Clinic), who is opening in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, is a 30-year veteran dentist. The accidental introduction of the digital implant 'DIOnavi.' into dental clinic six years ago reduced the stress of the clinician.
Even for a 30-year veteran clinicians, implants are not easy procedures.
This is because the surgical method differs according to the patient's case, and the clinician's condition on the day of surgery also affects the treatment outcome.
The flapless surgery is not familiar to Dr. Chae before the flapless surgery became popular, he learned implant surgery without incision from a dental college colleague who was a professor of periodontology.
He said, "In the early period of implant surgery, several steps such as opening the flap, incision, and suture were required. However, in difficult cases such as sinus and poor mandibular inferior alveolar nerves, the accuracy is sometimes inferior, leaving a feeling of regret. In the midst of this, I met 'DIOnavi.', a digital implant that can determine the location of implantation in advance through simulation.” Dr. Chae mostly uses 'DIOnavi.' except in special cases.

Digital Implants for Older Adults
This is because dentistry, which is mostly patients in their 60s~ 80s, is a system that satisfies both patients and clinicians when implanting implants.
"The navigation implant 'DIOnavi.' has fewer side effects such as swelling after surgery because it can identify the location of the implant without opening the gums," he said. "There are fewer complications for patients who take antithrombotic agent and patients who take medicine for chronic diseases."
In particular, ‘DIOnavi.’ is perfect for patients who need a full mouth surgery. Dr. Chae said, "Full mouth case is difficult to design in the mouth. If you use ‘DIOnavi.’, it is much more efficient to place the maxillary and mandibular full cases with the occlusion aligned. In addition, for edentulous patients, they can see the process in advance with DIOnavi. Surgery and get surgery with confidence.
He said, "The patients were satisfied saying 'My uncomfortable teeth turned out pretty after I got the surgery by a doctor', and 'there is no complication', and the number of patients is increased as they introduced DIOnavi. to their friends."
It has been introducing oral scanners since 2 to 3 months ago, further reducing the duration of implant procedures. Dr. Chae explained, "We filmed with CBCT without oral scanners and planted implants, but these days, we are using them satisfactorily enough to regret why we didn't have oral scanners quickly," adding, "We are very satisfied with the decrease in time to send, modify, and receive models after impressions."
The local doctor in the Gunsan
The elderly patients are regular patients who visit Dr. Chae’s Dental Clinic for at least 10 years. This is why we have to do our best every time.
He said, “I want to help to relieve the discomfort of the patients' teeth like a local doctor in the future." and he said, "I want to take responsibility attentively for the oral health of the people of Gunsan."
