“Digital is the best, so I can't go back to the past”
Transformed into digital dentistry by introducing DIO digital system
There are many advantages of the guide, so the patients are satisfied.
Muan Top Plant Dental Clinic is a dental clinic that has been newly transformed into a digital dental clinic by Dr. Su-il Jeon, and is gradually establishing itself in the region.
Dr. Jeon, who first opened in Jangheung, Jeollanam-do, has been providing treatment in an analog method, but after realizing the need for digital treatment, he prepared it step by step by listening to related seminars.
He said, "In January last year, we opened the Top Plant Dental Clinic in Muan, which represents digital dentistry for the second time." and "There were difficulties due to the outbreak of COVID-19 right after the opening, but I overcame it well."
Dr. Jeon expanded the size of dentistry and actively introduced digital equipment to transform into a digital dentistry.
Currently, equipment such as Trios 4, UV Activator, and 3D printer is being used. Currently, 80-90% of all surgeries are performed digitally, and it is said that the staff, who were unfamiliar at first, are now very familiar with the digital system.
He explained how he first encountered DIO's products, saying, "I decided to use DIO products because DIO's digital capabilities were the most advanced among major dental companies."
In particular, after visiting the DIO center of the headquarters in Busan in person, his faith and trust became stronger.
He also said, "The DIOnavi. guide is of good quality. I don't think I can do it if I ask them to go back to analog because I know many advantages of digital.
Because the advantages of digital guides are so good. Especially for edentulous, anterior teeth, and sensitive patients, it is recommended to proceed as a guide.”
Patients who underwent implant surgery as a guide also responded satisfactorily.
In particular, patients who had the implant surgery in analog way in the early days by Dr. Jeon were very satisfied with the digital guide for additional implants and are said to be highly recommended to acquaintances.

Currently, the digital treatment system of Top Plant Dental Clinic is proceeding by sending oral scanner files from the dentist to the DIO Center and then consulting each other sufficiently.
Dr. Jeon explained the various advantages of the implant guide. "The guide is good for beginners who have just had implants, but I think it also helps experienced skilled people. Compared to analog, the operation time has been reduced by up to 70%, reducing physical stress on surgery. The guide is more helpful when several implants are placed or the difficulty of the operation is higher, and there are many advantages to using the guide, especially for oral surgeons.”
He said, "When I placed the implant in an analog method, I had a lot of stress the day before the surgery, but now I don't worry even if there are several surgeries a day."
In particular, he said “But you shouldn’t just rely on guides. Even with a guide, there will always be difficult moments. For example, if the opening amount is insufficient or there is an error in the guide itself, it can be solved if the person has abundant clinical experience, but if not, it is not easy to solve. In order to make better use of the guide, it is better to have a basic concept and understanding of the analog method. In my case, the various situations that I experienced when performing an analog implant surgery in the past are very helpful now.”

Dr. Jeon said, "We are actively explaining the advantages of digital to the close dentists, but there are surprisingly dentists who are afraid of it," adding, "Anyone can do it after a few tries."
However, in order for dentistry to properly start digital, the cooperation of employees is also important, so persuasion is necessary, he explained.
“Some directors are worried about the cost of switching to digital, but you don't have to worry much because sales increase more than that, he said. "Digital is still the trend, but in 10 years, most dentists will treat them digitally, so even if the analog method is comfortable, you should pay attention to it once," he stressed.
Regarding future plans, Dr. Jeon said, "I want to expand my dental clinic and build a new groundbreaking room later," adding, "I am thinking about whether to start DIOnavi. Full Arch, and I will decide after sufficient discussion."
Finally, regarding his own treatment philosophy, Dr. Jeon said, "We are treating patients with the heart that they are my family," adding, "We will continue to treat each patient with great care."
