“Successful dental clinic differentiation with same-day implantation and same-day prosthesis”

"The main advantage of ‘DIOnavi. Full Arch’ is that patients can be liberated from dentures on the same day as the surgery. With a short treatment period and fewer visits, patient satisfaction is very high."

Dr. Young-ho Yoo is a practitioner who placed 'digital' at the forefront of his dental practice, achieving success in improving the essence of dentistry through digitization.

After relocating his practice to Daejeon from another region, Dr. Yoo contemplated ways to differentiate his dental practice, ultimately choosing 'digital' as the path forward.
Having gained experience with numerous devices and equipment, he remarked, "The more I use it, the more I realize that DIO's technological capabilities in digital dentistry are truly top-notch." He further evaluated, "Not only in terms of accuracy but also in reflecting the needs and convenience of the practitioners, DIO stands out."
Dr. Yoo chose 'DIOnavi. Full Arch' as a solution for treating edentulous patients, addressing the growing elderly population. 'DIOnavi. Full Arch' utilizes digital oral scanners and CT scans to acquire data, enabling the creation of surgical guides and prosthetics in advance. It allows the placement of 4-6 implants and the attachment of pre-fabricated temporary prosthetics, allowing patients to resume their daily activities on the same day as the surgery.
Praise for DIO's Digital Technology
Dr. Yoo praised the accuracy and efficiency of 'DIOnavi. Full Arch'. These aspects of precision and efficiency were crucial reasons for his adoption of digital technology.
He explained, "'DIOnavi. Full Arch' utilizes Wax Dentures to accurately capture oral data of edentulous patients, meeting personal needs for meticulous and perfect treatment by reducing errors." He elaborated, "DIO's ideas to minimize the difficulties and errors in scanning experienced by practitioners in edentulous cases are highly beneficial."
Furthermore, he noted, "The treatment process for edentulous patients has become much simpler after the introduction of 'DIOnavi. Full Arch'." He stated, "With the appropriate division of roles between DIO and its staff or between steps like diagnosis, treatment planning, implantation, abutment attachment, and occlusal adjustment, I've experienced a positive change."
Above all, Dr. Yoo highly evaluated the advantage of connecting provisional bridges on the same day as the surgery, offered by 'DIOnavi. Full Arch'.
He highlighted, "Even if there is some torque when inserting the Provisional Bridge, there is a splinting effect that secures initial stability." He added, "I'm experiencing DIO's expertise in securing initial stability while accurately placing implants in the correct positions."
Same-Day Denture Liberation Boosts Patient Satisfaction
The ability to attach temporary teeth on the same day of surgery provides high patient satisfaction.
Dr. Yoo mentioned, "Above all, the advantage of same-day implantation and same-day prosthetics is very appealing to patients." He expressed, "It's rewarding to see elderly patients regain their dental aesthetics and functionality with just half a day invested, confidently stepping out after visiting the dental clinic."
The ability to free patients from dentures on the same day of surgery, along with the reduced discomfort compared to the flap method, led to an increase in patient visits. Moreover, the acceptance rate for 'DIOnavi. Full Arch' consultations has risen significantly after its adoption.
He commented, "Patients who have previous experiences or have heard about flap surgery for themselves, family, friends, etc., greatly appreciate the advantages of 'DIOnavi. Full Arch'." He continued, "Not only is the post-surgery experience much more comfortable, with a shorter treatment period and fewer visits, patient satisfaction is high."
Highly Recommended for Clinics with Many Denture Patients
Dr. Yoo added a recommendation for clinics with a high percentage of denture patients to consider 'DIOnavi. Full Arch'.
He explained, "For instance, even in cases where there is no bone in the maxilla but bone exists in the anterior region, making implantation difficult, 'DIOnavi. Full Arch' can provide a solution." He emphasized, "For clinics with a high percentage of denture patients, this is an even more useful solution."
Having accumulated over 20 years of clinical experience, the transition to digital was not an easy challenge for him. The barrier of transitioning clinical patterns and habits to digital seemed daunting at times.
He advised, "As young dentists enter the field and patients receive more information, digital dentistry has become an unstoppable trend." He encouraged, "Never give up, persistently embrace it. Every dentist can do it."
He concluded, "Through digital integration, clinicians can experience improved accuracy in implant placement and increased patient satisfaction, while reducing the stress associated with treatment. I hope every dentist gets to experience this."
