DIO Corp., received the grand prize in the technology innovation division in the ‘7th Korea New Drug Awards’
Leading the digital dentistry industry with innovative R&D technologies.
DIO Corp. (general president, Jin-Baek Kim), a leading company in digital dentistry, was honored with the ‘grand prize’
in the ‘technology innovation division at the awarding ceremony for the ‘7th Korea New Drug Awards’ held in Ferrum Hall in Ferrum Tower, Seoul on the 11th of September.
Through this award, DIO was fully recognized for the contributions the company made for the development of technology innovations including ‘DIO Ortho navi.’, which is a digital orthodontic system utilizing 3D printing technology, ‘UV implant’ and digital implant ‘DIOnavi’, etc.
In particular, digital implant, ‘DIOnavi.’, launched in 2014 is the representative digitalized surgical guided system used most extensively in Korea with overwhelming accuracy and stability, and led the R&D technology innovation of DIO. It is anticipated that DIO will achieve the highest performances in the accumulated number of implant placement through the application of ‘DIOnavi.’ anticipated to exceed the 400,000 placement.
Mr. Jin-Baek Kim, general president of DIO, saie that, “I am greatly delighted with this highly meaningful award as the results of
our continuous researches and development in order for patients throughout the world to undergo treatment comfortably without pain.

Meanwhile, the 7th Korea New Drug Awards is the most authoritative awarding ceremony to select the companies that achieved outstanding performances in research and development (R&D) in the area of pharmaceutical, bio and medical device industry by the Ministry of Food & Drug Safety along with press.
