Confidence in Dental 3D printing innovation
DIO (CEO Jin-Baek Kim), a leading company in digital dentistry, is accelerating in cutting-edge dental 3D printing materials business.
In 2018, DIO developed its own 3D printer 'DIO PROBO' and also developed its own photo-curable dental 3D printing materials such as Temporary Crown, Surgical Guide, Castable Resin, and Dental Models optimized for digital dental treatment.

In addition, last year, DIO was the first Korean company to receive permit of the new 'Denture Base' dental 3D printing material 'DIOnavi-Denture'.
DIO is the only company in Korea that has established a lineup of five 3D printing materials (C & B, SG, Cast, Model, Denture) and has stood out as a representative company in the field of dental 3D printing materials.

As a result of continuous research for the development of innovative new materials, DIO was able to develop new materials such as highly transparent surgical guide material 'DIOnavi-SG02'.
Particularly, the material 'DIOnavi-SG02' that is printed with a 3D printer 'DIO PROBO' has excellent mechanical properties even after curing only for 5 minutes with 'PROBO Cure' within 30 minutes of printing. Since the curing time is shorter than that of other companies, the overall process time is also anticipated to be shortened, and the launch is drawing more and more attention from the dental industry.

“The transparency of the 'DIOnavi-SG02' material has been increased to secure the surgeon's view when using a surgical guide during the surgery, so that the surgeon can check whether the sleeve is fully tightened or not.” said Young-Min Park, the director of 3D printing material development division of DIO.
In addition, the bending strength and elasticity of 80 MPa or more has minimized the phenomenon of the guide from breaking during the implant surgery. “The material 'DIOnavi-SG02' is currently undergoing stability and effectiveness evaluation in Korea and overseas, and is expected to be released in the second half of this year in Korea.”
Subsequently, Mr.Park said, “We have pride in the world-class quality of DIO's 3D printing material. and, we have a digital solution technology tailored to the characteristics of dentistry."
He added that, "From now on, with our unrivaled technical skills as our stepping stone, DIO will lead the global dental 3D printing market."
