DIO Implant, a leading digital dentistry company, successfully completed ‘SIDEX 2023’ held at COEX, Seoul from May 26th to 28th.
‘SIDEX 2023’, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, has established itself as a global dental festival with the participation of 20,000 dental industry officials from all over the world, befitting the largest exhibition in Korea.
In particular, this year, we presented a new vision in the post-COVID-19 era by filling it with differentiated attractions worthy of the 20th anniversary.

New Evolution of Digital Prosthetic Workflow, DIO Cementless Prosthetics System
The hot topic at this SIDEX 2023 was DIO’s ‘DIO Cementless Prosthetics System’
The cementless prosthesis developed by DIO is a screw-retained type prosthetic system with a direct crown method. Multiunit abutment or ECO abutment is directly fastened to the crown without using a cylinder.
In addition, we succeeded in developing ‘DIO ECO CAD’, which serves as a bridge for prosthetic production, for the first time in a domestic implant company, and completed a new digital prosthetic workflow that allows easy and fast output with a milling machine and 3D printer by designing cement-free prosthetics.
At the DIO booth, all lineups that realize digital prosthetics, such as prosthetic design software ‘DIO ECO CAD’, 3D printer ‘DIO PROBO Z’, curing machine ‘DIO PROBO Cure 2’ and milling machine ‘Plus Mill X5’, were displayed, stopping visitors in their tracks.

by a domestic implant company!
DIO ECO CAD, independently developed by DIO, is a prosthetic design CAD software
that anyone can easily design the most suitable prosthesis for a patient by applying big data and AI convergence technology.
Along with the Abutment Library function that converts the scan data of the Scan Adaptor and Custom Abutment into individual libraries, it is equipped with the Auto Margin function, and it automatically recognizes the margin line, which is an essential task in prosthetic design, so that the optimal prosthesis can be designed easily.
In addition, various functions such as a model creation function and a handle creation function
have been installed to further enhance user convenience.
We can also provide a variety of prosthetic designs, including inlays, onlays, single crowns and bridge crowns,
as well as cementless prosthetic treatments. Cementless prosthetic fabrication soon enabled economical and simple prosthetic fabrication with a drastic reduction in chair time.
At this SIDEX 2023, the ‘DIO ECO CAD’ experience zone was set up to provide an opportunity to experience
