‘DIO Ortho navi. Bracket’ is the world’s first 3D-printed orthodontic bracket developed by DIO. The improved design and material makes them usable on both labial and lingual sides.
While there has been no successful clinical case reported using 3D-printed brackets, DIO Ortho navi. finally broke the wall.
As a result, ‘3D Printed Lingual Brackets’, the core technology of DIO Ortho navi., was featured as the cover story in the American journal of Clinical Orthodontics (JCO),
which is one of the top dental journals that boasts global influence and authority, focusing on DIO’s application of 3D printing technology to offer customized solution for the patient, attracting keen interest from the global dental industry.
In the journal, it is introduced as a system that minimizes the patient's inconvenience using 2 strands of Ni-Ti wires that exerts force without wire banding, allows precise movement of the teeth, and enables easy treatment with a custom base and a positioning jig that can attach the bracket precisely according to the shape of the patient's teeth.
‘DIO Ortho navi.’ can be attached to both lingual and buccal side of the teeth according to the needs of patients and surgeons. The labial bracket can be easily attached to the anterior teeth as well as the molar teeth using a jig, and the two-stranded Ni-Ti wire can be used to precisely control the torque of the teeth.
In particular, applying an orthodontic rubber band to the utility wing of the lingual side bracket allows more effective treatment, and the 3D printed hole button and hook provided with the orthodontic treatment increases the accuracy which allows a more variety of treatments.
Above all, 4,300 cases have already been performed at over 300 domestic dentists, securing the stability of treatment.

The newly renewed ‘DIO Ortho navi. ‘Clear Aligner’ is a digital clear aligner that was developed with the addition of DIO’s own color based on accumulated know-how and advanced technology.
What’s even more surprising is that it includes the entire treatment process, not just the final result.
Compared to the existing transparent orthodontics, we focused on solving the treatment finish by dividing the amount of movement in detail,
and adopted a solution using a single type of sheet to minimize the patient's pain.
